Dear Most Holy Redeemer Families,

I hope you are having a blessed and enriching summer break. The seeds of our Lord are falling on fertile soil this summer. Lot’s of wonderful progress is happening.

A warm welcome to our new families! Every new year brings a sense of renewal, but it is especially exciting to join a new school! I am looking forward to meeting you all. We are in the process of scheduling a new parent night out where you can meet our pastor, Fr. Hurley, and myself. We will also have a Back-to-School night and many other opportunities for you to make connections and feel at home here at MHR.

Enrollment: Our enrollment currently stands at 408 students PreK-8. We will start the year with three PreK classrooms and two classrooms each from K-8. Our K-8 average class size is currently 19 students.

Summer work: Briody Hall is in the process of getting a refresh; the church and rectory have several updates, notably a new church roof; the parking lot/playground is scheduled to be resurfaced; a new wall is going up along 95th street; we are painting and carpeting some classrooms and deep cleaning the entire school.

School supplies: 26-27 FINAL Grade Level Supply Lists

School uniforms: Our online store is currently being updated. Please check in August. Our uniform night is August 18.

Summer office hours: In July, the office is closed. The first two weeks of August, the office will be open Tue, Wed, Thu 9am to Noon. Starting August 17th, the main office will be back on regular hours M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm.

Aug 18 Uniform and Packet Pick Up
Families can purchase uniforms and pick up important forms and information

Aug 23 Back to School Mass and Welcome
Families are invited to a special Backpack Blessing Mass, and then to the school for Meet the Teachers and Supply drop-off. Please bring in all your school supplies for an easy morning on the first day of school.

Aug 24 First Day of School
Early dismissal at 1:30am

May God bless each of you with a summer filled with rest, joy, and meaningful time with family and friends. May He keep you safe in your travels, strengthen your faith, and bring you back to us refreshed and ready for another year of learning and growing together. We entrust our entire school community to the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, asking her to watch over our families and lead us ever closer to her Son.
