When 3rd graders Claire and Maggie recently invited classmates to share in the celebration of their birthdays, the girls asked their guests that, in lieu of birthday gifts, a donation be made to the Franzen Fund. Claire and Maggie presented $100 for deposit in the Fund.
The girls’ graciousness in sacrificing birthday gifts so that families in need are assisted by the Franzen Fund is an inspiration—the girls had just turned 9 years old!
