Mr. Turney’s “Raider Ramblings”

What an incredible start to the school year!  The energy in our building this week has been extremely positive.  Thank you, students, faculty, and families, for making this week so special!

School Messenger Test

Wednesday at 3 pm, MHR tested its emergency contact system – School Messenger.  If you did not receive the test message, please check your spam folder before proceeding to contact our main office to inform us.  School Messenger is a vital form of communication that we dedicate for emergencies and/or other unique messages.

Evergreen Park Curb Construction

Wednesday, September 14, the Village of Evergreen Park will undergo a construction project to replace all curbs around Most Holy Redeemer Church and School.  Construction will be done in three phases, and last from September 14 – 28.  Please note these dates are in place, weather permitting.  Phase one will impact the 9500 block of S. Millard along with 96th st. east ½ north side.  Phase two will impact the 9500 block of S. Lawndale along with 96th st. west ½ North.   Phase three will impact the south side of 96th st.  This process will impact our daily operations drastically, particularly our morning and afternoon arrival and dismissal protocol.  To ensure students arrive and depart safely from school, we will follow the following amended procedures.  Friday afternoon, all families will receive a message via School Messenger alert with detailed instruction on the unique procedures for each phase along with maps that highlight the required pedestrian and vehicular patterns.  Stay tuned for more information.
