Fall Sports/Activities Assembly 

Friday, November 4, we will honor all students participating in MHR fall sports/activities with an assembly at 1:30 PM in our North parking lot.  Parents/guardians are invited.  Please join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our incredible students.

We wish the best of luck to our 6th-grade girls’ basketball team, JV football team and cheerleaders, and Varsity football team and cheerleaders who will compete Sunday in their respective league championships.  All are invited to come support our Raiders:

  • 6th Grade Girl’s Basketball Championship – Noon at Marist High School
  • JV Football and Cheer Championship – 1:30 pm at St. Laurence High School
  • Varsity Football and Cheer Championship – 3:45 pm at St. Laurence High School

Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser – November 11 – November 15

Back by popular demand – POPCORN!!  All are invited to raise funds for Most Holy Redeemer School through our second annual Double Good Popcorn fundraiser.

See the instructions below to set up your unique pop up store:

Team – set up a Double Good virtual fundraiser! It’s 100% contactless, we keep 50% of the profit and the product ships directly to the buyer.

Each of us will create a Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good gourmet popcorn! Prices range from $18-$59. The popcorn is award-winning and really delicious!

Our fundraising window begins on November 11, 2022, at 5:00 PM and goes until November 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM.

Before the fundraiser begins:

  1. Download the Double Good app
  2. Enter our Event Code TCALIZ in the app
  3. Create your Pop-Up Store

The app is available for free on iOS and Android app stores.

This year’s incentives for top sellers include: 

  1. Most Money Raised – Student –> Principal for the Afternoon
  2. Most Money Raised – Family –> Tuition Credit ($250)
  3. Most Money Raiser – Class –> Gaming Afternoon at MHR with Pizza Party
  4. If the school earns $30,000 in gross sales ($15,000 raised for MHR) – Thursday, 11/22, and Friday, 12/22, will be 1:30 dismissals in prep for Thanksgiving and Christmas break, AND students will be able to dress in theme each day during the week leading up to Christmas break.

Fall Clubs/Sports Recognition Assembly

Friday, November 4, we will recognize all MHR fall sports and clubs during a recognition assembly.  Further detail regarding the assembly will be posted in next week’s newsletter.      

Substitute Teacher Needed – Middle School ELA

MHR is looking for a short-term substitute to teach Middle School English Language Arts for the upcoming 2-3 weeks.  If you or someone you know is interested, please contact Mr. Turney immediately.  

Veteran’s Drive

Thank you to all who generously donated to our Homeless Veteran Donation project. We have collected over 24 boxes filled with soaps, body wash, shampoo, etc., which are all desperately needed by the veterans. 

Picture Retakes

Van Gogh will be back for absentee and picture retakes on November 9.
