Middle School High School Visits – Friday, October 14

If your middle school student is visiting a high school Friday, please report this absence by sending an email to attendance@mhrschool.com.  Please do not call the school Friday morning to report this absence as Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Schultz will be out of the building.  

Winter Sports Registration

Registration for winter sports is now open.  Please visit www.MHRAA.com for further information.  

Evergreen Park Curb Construction 

In the coming days, the streets around Most Holy Redeemer will be removed and repaved.  Please read the following notice from the Village of Evergreen Park regarding the work.

Raider of the Week

Congratulations to our recent Raiders of the Week, Charlie O’Connell and Claire Cushing. 

Claire Cushing-4th Grade

During recess, Claire noticed that a door was not held and she took initiative to hold the door for her classmates so everyone could enter the building safely. Thanks, Claire for taking care of your classmates at MHR.

Charlie O’Connell-Kindergarten

Charlie cares for his classmates and makes sure everyone is comfortable. Charlie cheers up his classmates whenever needed. He is a good friend to all!

Baby Bottle Project

Our annual Baby Bottle project begins this weekend.  All are invited to pick up a bottle beginning October 15.  We ask that all are returned by November 5.  If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Meg Sullivan at sor@mostholyredeemer.org  

Local High School Visits – Tuesday, October 18

Tuesday, October 18, we will welcome representatives from our local high schools to speak to our 7th and 8th-grade students.

First Reconciliation Meeting – Wednesday, October 19

All second-grade families are asked to join us for our first reconciliation meeting at 7 pm in the church.

Living Rosary, October 19

We invite all parents to join our school community as our 3rd and 4th-grade students lead the Living Rosary at 1:45 pm in the church.        

Lockdown Drill – Wednesday, October 19

We will on conduct a school lockdown drill Wednesday, October 19 at 10 am. This week, in preparation for the drill, our teachers will speak to their students on the procedures and general school safety.  

We invite all parents/guardians to take time to speak with your students as well. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe.
