Back to School Schedule
- Monday, August 29 – 1:30 pm dismissal for Faculty Collaboration
- Tuesday, August 30 and beyond – 2:45 pm dismissal
Back to School Open House
Join us for our Back to School Open House Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 6 – 8 pm. Families are invited to visit teachers throughout the evening. In addition, we will host the following scheduled breakout sessions, which families may choose to attend:
- General Welcome – 6 pm – All families are invited to begin the evening in church for prayer and welcome with Fr. Hyland and Principal Turney. Please note teachers will be in attendance and will proceed to their classroom following the welcome.
- New Schoolwide Student Behavior Accountability System – 6:45 pm – School leadership will host a breakout session in Briody Hall to inform parents of our new schoolwide behavior accountability system.
- New Family Q and A – 7:30 pm – School leadership will host a Q and A session for any new MHR families. All are invited to attend to meet our Leadership Team and ask any questions about MHR.

Raider of the Week
Each week, our community will highlight an MHR student(s) who exhibit the attributes associated with MHR students: Christian, Servant Leaders, Inspirational, Problem Solvers, Optimistic, Empathetic, Inquirers, Inclusive, Team-Driven, Growth Minded, Courageous, Open Minded, and Aware. Evergreen Park Curb Construction
In the coming weeks, Evergreen Park Public Works will undergo a construction project to replace all the curbs around Most Holy Redeemer Church and School. This will process will impact our daily operations, particularly our morning and afternoon arrival and dismissal protocol. School leadership is in the process of developing a plan to accommodate the construction project. This plan will be communicated to all families in the near future. We thank our families in advance for their flexibility during this project.
Hot Lunch
Hot lunch begins September 6, 2022. New this year, orders can be submitted each week. Click hereto log in and order. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Nancy Carlson in our main office.

Opening School Mass
All families are invited to join our faculty, staff, and students as we will celebrate our Opening of School Mass Friday, September 2, 2022, at 8:30 am.

Raider Run
We invite everyone to join us for the Raider Run 5K Run/Walk and Wee Raider Dash on Thursday, September 15th at 6:00 pm. Runners, walkers, and even the little ones are invited to participate. The 5K Run/Walk starts and finishes in MHR’s parking lot. The Wee Raider Dash is available for kids ages 1 – 5 to join in on the fun. This quick dash takes place in the MHR parking lot prior to the 5K. All participants will receive a premium race t-shirt, official chip timing, and post-race pizza. Sign up today!
