RAIDER RAMBLINGS

Mr. Turney’s Raider Ramblings

Raider(s) of the Week

Marty, Emmett, John, Maggie, Bridget, and Soraya embodied the MHR Graduate Profile attributes of Inspirational and Christian when they volunteered to serve the Easter Triduum liturgies.  The Easter Triduum, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday are the most sacred nights in the Catholic Church.  The celebration of these three holy nights is the most beautiful of the Church’s liturgies.  They are also the longest in length.  They are all very unique liturgies central to our beliefs as Catholics. These six students served beautifully and reverently. Thank you for your service, and God bless each of you.

“I Inspire” Award

A memorial fund was set up in honor of Teri Keaty Joyce in partnership with MHR Foundation aimed to spread the message of love, kindness and support for education as that was a theme in her life. The Teri Keaty Joyce “I Inspire” Teacher Recognition Program was launched in Spring 2024 aimed to recognize the important role teachers play in the lives of children. Please see attached to learn more about the “I Inspire Teacher Recognition Program” and how to go about nominating a teacher at Most Holy Redeemer.

MHR TRIVIA NIGHT

Thank you to all who attended this weekend’s Trivia Night, and to the School Advisory Board for leading the event.  It was a wonderful night had by all.

Monday, April 29 “Early Dismissal Games”

We are proud of our eighth-grade students for animating their leadership projects this month.  Please a message from our team leading the monthly “Early Dismissal Games” for our primary students:

Thank you for sending your child/children to our 1:30 pm “Early Dismissal Games.”  This message serves as a reminder that our second session will take place, Monday, April 29.  Once again, members of our team will go and pick up the students from their classrooms and bring them to the gym. Students should be picked up at 2:30 pm in Briody Hall.

We are very excited to continue this program with your child/children!

Thank you!
