Raider Ramblings

Raider of the Week  – Brendan

Brendan embodied the Grad Profile attribute Inspirational when he represented the student council and spoke about leadership at Sunday’s Mass.  Brendan could have said no to this speaking opportunity but instead wrote a wonderful piece about his leadership experience at MHR.

Thank you for setting a good example, Brendan!

Please click the link below to complete our 5 Essentials survey by Friday, March 22. Once complete, please share your confirmation email with me to be included in a $50 Amazon gift card raffle!

MHR 8th Grade Leadership Projects

Our 8th-grade students are hard at work developing projects to enhance our school community through their Leadership class.  Stay tuned for more information on how to get involved and support.  In the meantime, please find a message to all Grade 1-4 families from a team of 8th-grade students:

This is Maeve Stratton, Dylan Lawrence, Cat Witt, Wyn Shalack, and Hope Harkins. We have created a fun way to end the month as part of our Leadership course. Following each 1:30 Dismissal, there will be games in the gym that we have created for grades 1-4. It will be hosted from 1:30-2:20 on March 25, April 29, and May 20. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey. We are looking for a few different things such as game ideas and chaperones. We hope that your kids will meet new friends, play new games, and have new, fun, and exciting experiences. Thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope to see you there!

MHR Foundation Update

The MHR School Foundation is currently seeking applicants for the Board of Directors.

The MHR School Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit entity and aims to support the long-term success of the school, our parish, and our community.  The establishment of the MHR Foundation ensures that every year Most Holy Redeemer School will receive a monetary gift from the foundation’s endowment.  Building an endowment will help ensure that Most Holy Redeemer can continue to provide quality, value-based Catholic education.

This is a volunteer position, and applicants must be an MHR School alum or a current parishioner and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience.  Current or past experience serving on a board of directors is a plus.

If interested in applying, please contact Steve Sise at sjsise@gmail.com.
