Raider of the Week
Garrett – 3rd Grade-Mrs. Mangin’s Homeroom
Garrett is a thoughtful student who looks out for his classmates. We can always count on Garrett to be a great partner on any project with his peers.
Kids Helping Kids – Friday, May 5 – Out of Uniform Day – $1 Donation to Wear Red
Most Holy Redeemer will participate in this year’s “Kids Helping Kids” campaign. Donations from this Special Olympics fundraiser help support athletes from Mount Greenwood Park and all over Chicago. Money raised will cover costs of programming for individuals who cannot afford the cost. Special Olympics is a solid organization that provides recreation and support for Individuals with Disabilities and their families. They also provide volunteer opportunities for our local students.
First Holy Communion – Saturday, May 6; 11 AM
Please pray for our First Holy Communicants as they receive this holy sacrament Saturday. Most Holy Redeemer…Pray for US.
Parish May Crowning – Sunday, May 7; 11 am
All in our community are invited to join us in celebrating our annual May Crowning at 11 am Mass Sunday.
State of the School – Tuesday, May 9; 7 PM
We will gather as a community Tuesday, May 9 at 7 PM in Briody Hall for our annual “State of the School.” All faculty, staff, and current and prospective families are invited to attend to learn more about Most Holy Redeemer’s incredible successes over the last year and see insight into what the future holds at MHR. Families may also view the State of the School through a livestream video. This link will be sent to all families, via email, Monday evening. Please note the above date has been adjusted from our original date due to a scheduling conflict.
Ribbon Mass – Wednesday, May 10; 8:30 AM
Please keep our eighth grade students in your prayers in the coming weeks as they inch towards their graduation from MHR. Wednesday, May 10, students will experience their Eighth grade ribbon mass and luncheon. All are invited to join us for this special mass. May God bless our Raiders.
