September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Each September, we pause to honor and support children and families affected by childhood cancer. Raising awareness helps shed light on the need for ongoing research, early detection, and compassionate care.
To show our support:
-
Monday, September 29 – $1.00 out of uniform Wear Gold Day: Gold is the color of childhood cancer awareness. Let’s fill our school with gold to honor and support children and families facing this challenge. All donations will go to Christmas Without Cancer.
You may have noticed yellow ribbons tied to the trees around our school and church grounds. These ribbons are a visible sign of our community’s love, prayers, and support for all children and families impacted by cancer.
Together, we can share hope, increase understanding, and remind every child fighting cancer that they are not alone.
