National Merit Scholarship Program
Approximately 34,000 Commended Students have been recognized nationwide for their exceptional academic promise. These Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Congratulations to Lucy Maloney and Emily Mangin (the daughter of our own Mrs. Mangin) from the MHR Class of 2022.
It was a big week for Emily; she was also the recipient of the 2025 Catherine McAuley Award! This annual award is presented to a senior student who embodies Catherine McAuley’s spirit and who lives out her legacy of service, compassion, and hospitality.
